This is Danielle's second year as Centre Manager of the club. Danielle has been instrumental in overhauling the feeling and excitement within the Club to provide an enjoyable and exciting experience for all Athletes and their families.
This is Angela's second year as Club Secretary. Ang loves little athletics and looks forward to Friday nights and enjoys watching all the kids improve weekly. As Club Secretary, Ang brings a sense of calm and order to otherwise busy and sometimes hectic Committee meetings.
Belinda has been with the Club for the last 4 years, and this is her second year as Club Treasurer. Belinda is heavily involved in other committees where she has held many roles over the years. We are fortunate to have her expertise and financial management skills join our team.
Kim's friendly face and welcoming manner is probably the face you will get to know as she drums up registrations and nominations for upcoming events. Kim is a wealth of knowledge with all things Little A's and is happy to provide information and advice on everything to do with Events, Carnivals and Regional Relays.
Mike took over the Recording Officer position part way through the 2022/2023 season and will continue again this year. Mike is calm and organised at the finish line every Friday night and is the critical link between the Club and ResultsHQ (the online application the Club uses for run night results).
Tracey is one of our most experienced Committee members and plays a vital role as Club Registrar making sure that all families are registered correctly, athletes are in their correct age groups, and all patches are issued. A valued member of our Club, Tracey's three children have excelled at Little Athletics and have gone on to compete at State level.
Nicole joined the Committee in the 2022/2023 season and will continue in this very important role again as our Grants Officer. Nicole's skills will clearly contribute to successful grant applications, which are essential to the Club maintaining a strong financial position, and being able to re-invest in new equipment and items for our Athletes.
Glen is the main man you will see jumping on and off the Greenfield pocket rocket as he dashes about setting up the activities at competitions and the Club every Friday run night. Many hands make light work, so please offer your assistance to Glen through the season for set-up and pack-down of activities.
Mell has kindly stepped into the role of Canteen Convenor. With Mell's guidance and foresight, the canteen will be a fantastic fundraiser for our Club this season. Mell will need the assistance of at least 3 volunteers each week to aid in the smooth and efficient running of the Canteen.
Rebecca gets to have some of the best fun organising and co-ordinating skill-building activities for the Tiny Tots who join our Club. Tiny Tots start at the Club from the age of 4 years and onwards, and by joining at a young age, helps them develop a love of all things athletics.
Greg volunteers his precious time conducting field maintenance, preparation and marking of the track throughout the Athletics season. Greg is a long standing member of the Club who brings with him a wealth of knowledge and has experience in coaching athletics.
Sarah excelled as an athlete at this club when she was young and is now back with her four kids and is happy to be the Coaching Officer to help athletes improve and achieve their best results. Sarah can assist new members with rules of competition, implement coaching clinics, and encourage parents to act as officials on run nights.
This is Lewis' first year on the Committee and he's taken on the role as Publicity Officer for the Club. Lewis keeps the Club website updated, and will be sending out regular newsletters to our families, and will be a link to our valued Club sponsors. Any ideas or suggestions for publicity for the Club, Lewis would love to hear them !
